A native of Pittsburgh who moved to Farmingdale with her retail industry husband when he was transferred to New Jersey in 1994, Cynthia Schomaker has held a broad range of jobs – from a UPS driver to the owner of a residential and commercial cleaning business.
But nothing connected for her quite like working with natural stone, which she first got into in the mid-1990s while working for another individual in the field. Though she left that opportunity after two years to work for a family-owned kitchen cabinet company, she soon returned to where her heart was. “I realized that I had a passion for stone,” Schomaker said.
